Recommended For: Air brake, pressurised hot oil return lines and rotary oil/air compressor lines, Meets the requirements of DOT SAE J1019 performance specifications for high-temperature transmission and lubricating oil systems using petroleum base oils. Not recommended for petrol or diesel applications. Tube: GTS black tube, specifically compounded for temperature and chemical resistance (CPE - Type J) Reinforcement: One braid of high-tensile steel wire. Cover: Oil and mildew resistant textile braid, impregnated with synthetic rubber. Temperate Range: Petroleum-base fluids -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C). Phosphate ester fluids recommended by the fluid manufacturer, but within range of -40°F 70 + 212°F (-40°C to + 100°C). Couplings: GL Series.
